Brothers Grossbart Released Today + Amazon Top Ten whisky tango foxtrot
Just got in from a post-World Fantasy trip to San Francisco and am wiped. Before passing out in the bathtub I should mention that today marks the official UK launch of The Sad Tale of the Brothers Grossbart. Guy Fawkes Night seems somehow appropriate a date for it, and I've received word from no less a badass new god than Neil Williamson that it has been spotted in the wild. Neil's marksmanship means one less copy at a Borders in Glasgow but I have it on good authority that the Sceptered Isle is still thick with the wily trade paperbacks. This is the first I've heard of a copy being physically purchased in a brick-and-mortar, and this news, combined with the fact that said customer is such a talented author, made me a little misty. The emotion I felt to hear this would have been the same, I suspect, even if I was not exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally, and coming off a week-long booze-bender just as I was getting on a tiny airplane that looked like a poorly put together child's model.
More on this and World Fantasy, but I really am in bad shape--stray dogs are wincing at my haggard visage; my eyes stare but no longer see. Before I go, though, how about this orchard harvest? Squeaking into Amazon's Top Ten Fantasy and Science Fiction Books of the Year is as welcome as it is unexpected. Really fucking unexpected and really fucking welcome, is what I'm clumsily jabbing at. Huge thanks to the readers behind the scenes, and that's me to shambles.
I stand here today humbled by the task before dofus kamas, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our cheap dofus kamas. I thank President dofus power leveling for his service to buy dofus kamas, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.
