Y’all. Y’all.
Hard to believe it’s been so long since my last dispatch, but then we’ve all been living through the same bizarro hellscape, so you get it. Time is a slippery pig of late. Health/life/everything has slowed my long-form output, but I hope when all my schemes come to fruition you’ll find them worth the wait. In the meantime, I’ve dropped a few small, colorful eggs of dubious freshness…
What a time. I hope you’re weathering the situation(s) as best you can, wherever you are. Like most folks, I’ve been finding solace—or at least distraction—in stories, be they literary or cinematic or of the gaming variety. In the event that my scribblings happen to serve a similar role for you, here are my most recent publications:

Thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway for a paperback copy of A War in Crimson Embers! All told there were seventeen entries, so I went with the D20 option and rerolled when I came up with ineligible results. The five winners are as follows:
We’re only a week or so out from the paperback release of A War in Crimson Embers, and that means it’s free book time! I’m giving away five signed copies of the trilogy closer. Due to the bugnuts cost of sending packages abroad I’m restricting this contest to those with a US mailing address.
What’s next? The inevitable question! Since wrapping up the Crimson Empire trilogy I’ve been hard at work on a number of very different projects. While I’m keeping details about my next novel(s) tightly under wraps for now, I’m happy to report that I’ve recently completed sundry shorter works that are either forthcoming or already available:
This weekend is shaping up to a busy one: I’m a guest at Emerald City Comic Con, and also taking part in a free public panel and signing at Brick & Mortar Books. If you’re able to attend any of the events please stop by and say hello so I can feel slightly less alone in this vast, cold universe, however fleetingly…and we can shoot the shit about books or whatever!

I’m deep in the revision process for Book III of the Crimson Empire trilogy, and that means I’m listening to music most constant-like.
